From a Single Joint to Embodied Intelligence | EYOU Wins 2026 Gasgoo Award for Best Technology Practice Application
On October 23, the 8th Gasgoo Awards 2026 “China Solutions for the World” ceremony concluded successfully in Shanghai. EYOU won the 2026 Gasgoo Award for Best Technology Practice Application, recognized for its technological expertise, engineering capabilities, and scaled delivery achievements in integrated servo joint modules.
The Best Technology Practice Application Award recognizes technologies and solutions that have achieved real-world application and demonstrated clear industrial value, with emphasis on technical advancement, engineering maturity, mass-production delivery capabilities, and market application results. In the newly introduced focus area of Embodied Intelligence and Cross-Industry Technologies, EYOU was selected as a technology practice award winner in the core components category.

01 From Full-Chain Proprietary R&D to Mass-Production Delivery
A joint module is far more than an assembly of parts; it is a systems engineering discipline that tests comprehensive R&D capabilities.
Since its founding in 2018, EYOU has focused on core integrated joint module technologies, developing full hardware-based FOC algorithms and dedicated joint drive chips. Its 20–40 kHz high-speed current closed-loop response enables end-system energy efficiency to exceed 70%. The company has established a full-chain proprietary R&D system spanning control chips, drive and control algorithms, and module integration. With more than 120 patents, EYOU has built a joint module portfolio covering harmonic, planetary, and linear series for hip, knee, shoulder, wrist, and other robot joints.

Technological advancement is only the entry ticket; mass-production delivery is the real threshold. Joint modules account for approximately 50% of the total cost of a humanoid robot, making cost reduction through scaled production a direct determinant of commercial viability.
In early 2026, EYOU's world's first automated robot joint production line went into operation at Zhangjiang Robot Valley in Shanghai. The line achieves a production cycle time as fast as 60 seconds per harmonic joint and a 98% rolled throughput yield across the entire process. Benchmarked against automotive-grade quality control systems, it provides full-process traceability and online inspection at every stage, with a target defect rate below 100 PPM. Efficient automated processes reduce production hours, while standardized automotive-grade systems minimize rework losses, continuously lowering unit manufacturing costs while ensuring stable delivery of high-quality products and creating greater cost flexibility for complete robot systems.

Proprietary core technologies and scaled manufacturing capabilities reinforce each other, driving steady business growth. EYOU shipped 95,000 joint units in 2025, ranking among the industry leaders in harmonic joint shipments for humanoid robots. Orders on hand exceeded 1.5 million units in 2026, 15 times its total shipments in 2025. Large-scale orders from downstream markets validate the maturity of this technical approach and manufacturing model.
02 Partnering with Automakers to Bring Mass Production into Real-World Applications
EYOU's partnerships are expanding to vehicle manufacturers investing in robotics, including Chery, FAW, SAIC, Geely, Li Auto, and NIO.
At a launch event, Zhang Guibing, General Manager of Chery AiMOGA Robotics, proposed applying the cost logic of automotive manufacturing to build robots that can be mass-produced, delivered, and operated profitably. This vision aligns with EYOU's approach: EYOU has transferred the quality control standards, supply chain practices, and cost management experience accumulated in the automotive industry to robotics. By reengineering manufacturing processes around automotive-grade quality control and supplying standardized joints at scale, EYOU is putting this mass-production-oriented business model into practice.

03 Opening a New Chapter for Embodied Intelligence
Having grown from a joint module supplier into a Tier 1 supplier with full-chain capabilities spanning chips, algorithms, and module manufacturing, EYOU's next step is to move from “can manufacture” to “works well,” and from “can deliver” to “long-term partnership.”
EYOU will continue to advance integrated joint technologies and develop high-power, high-performance joint products while addressing core industry challenges such as force-control sensing and temperature-rise suppression. With shorter product iteration cycles and greater consistency in mass production, EYOU aims to support more cross-industry partners in bringing embodied intelligence from concept to production lines, and from laboratories to real-world applications.
