CAN custom protocol currently sends brake command and disable command simultaneously, but due to brake response time, disable actually takes effect first before the brake engages. In practice, send the brake command first, then send the disable command to the module.
PH and PHU series modules supporting CANopen protocol have software-level control logic that brakes first then disables.
