WRC 2026 | EYOU Robot Unveils Industrial Force-Controlled Dual-Arm Robot, Unlocking New Human-Robot Interaction

On August 19, the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) opened in Beijing. Under the theme of “Human-Robot Symbiosis, Integrating Industry with Demand,” this year’s conference focuses on the real-world deployment of embodied intelligence. EYOU Robot is presenting its industrial force-controlled dual-arm robot and a matrix of 36 joint modules at the show, demonstrating new possibilities for force-control joints in human-robot collaboration scenarios.

The robotics industry is accelerating from technical demonstrations to real-world deployment, and safe interaction has become an indispensable core requirement of human-robot collaboration. Force control is precisely the underlying capability that allows robots to adapt to complex real-world conditions.

EYOU industrial force-controlled dual-arm robot powered by PHU-F harmonic force-control joints

The industrial force-controlled dual-arm robot is equipped throughout with EYOU’s high-performance PHU-F enhanced harmonic force-control joints. Each joint has a built-in high-precision torque sensor and works with EYOU’s self-developed force-control algorithms to achieve millisecond-level response, giving the robotic arms delicate perception and compliant control comparable to a human arm. The system can be widely applied in human-robot collaboration, precision machining, and other scenarios where force control is essential.

At the booth, three visualized dynamic demos showcased the appeal of force-controlled interaction:

1) Zero-Force Dragging of the Master Arm — a “Painless Weight-Offloading” Experience

Relying on high-bandwidth torque closed-loop control technology, the master arm overcomes the traditional pain points of bulky, hard-to-commission robotic arms and delivers a near-weightless operating feel. With just a few fingers, an operator can easily drag the entire arm through flexible motion — smooth and free of jerk — lowering the barrier for device commissioning and teaching, and making industrial operation easier and more efficient.

2) Compliant Impedance of the Slave Arm — Yielding Instantly on Contact

The slave arm follows the master arm’s motion in real time and features active compliance. When it encounters obstacles such as workpieces, equipment, or people during operation, it yields proactively, eliminating rigid collision damage at the source. Interaction is safer, fitting industrial scenarios where humans and robots work side by side.

3) Bidirectional Force Feedback Loop — Real “Touch” for Remote Operation

When the slave arm makes contact with the outside world, the joint torque sensors send force data back to the master arm in real time. Through reverse data driving, the operator can precisely perceive the contact force and state at the slave end from the master end. In scenarios such as remote assembly, contoured-surface polishing, and inspection in high-hazard environments, this enables remote operation with on-site-like perception, greatly expanding the working boundaries of industrial robots.

At this year’s WRC, EYOU Robot brought a matrix of 36 joint modules to the show.

The PHU and RHU harmonic joints cover a wide range of applications from heavy-duty industrial to light-duty commercial use; the RP planetary series targets high-dynamic motion scenarios with outstanding impact resistance; and the RL linear joints come standard with high-precision tension-compression force sensors, providing more efficient actuation for linear reciprocating robot motion.

Force control is a key technology for robots to interact with the physical world safely and naturally. EYOU Robot will continue to focus on the force-control joint segment, advancing the scenario-based deployment of force-control technology and empowering more complete-robot projects with mass-production-grade joints, driving a new future of human-robot collaboration.

From August 19 to 23, we sincerely invite you to visit the EYOU Robot booth!
